This fall marks 5 years since we opened our doors in Smiths Falls. When we began, we were called The Arts Hub – home to 3 creative branches: a local artisan shop, our music school Smiths Falls Music, and Northwood Studio for recording and production.
3 years in, we unified everything under one name – The HUB: Music & Art – to spotlight the growing music side of what we do. Since then, things have evolved. Our retail music store has grown fast. Two nearby music stores have closed, leaving us as the only full-service music store within 50 kilometres. While we continue to showcase local artisans, that part of our business is shifting to a smaller scale.
With all that in mind – and to stand apart from the many other ‘Hubs’ popping up – we’re proud to announce that moving forward, we’ll be known simply as… “Smiths Falls Music.”
